The Bel Paese Garden

Genesis is the chapter where Paradise closes behind those who lived in it: it is no longer just a mythical scene; it is the beginning of consequences. Here, history seeks the remnants of Creation and shows us what remains when the Divine withdraws and makes way for the Human.

The ZINE "La Genesi" - Spring '25 - tells the story of the immediate aftermath of exile: the closed gate, the dust on one's feet, the road ahead. It is not a tale of guilt for its own sake, but of the first dawn where one must learn to live outside of Perfection.

Arven is the protagonist of this first edition. He plays himself and the figure of Lucifer, with a human and multifaceted approach. He is not a monolithic demon: he is a complex counterpart. Benevolence and resentment, certainty and fallibility. His voice does not condemn, but invites us to look.

The Forbidden Fruit is a symbol, as are the traces left on the body and on things. The ZINE works on details, to transform them into chapters of a story that does not judge but shows, that stages the tension between what had been created and what still needs to be built.
